Hello, My Name is TAM

A site specific, multi-channel audio/visual installation in the Grand Rapid Public Museum’s former location on Jefferson Avenue. Using the museum’s Transparent Anatomical Model and original audio script, we create an immersive environment that contextualizes the TAM in the history of female anatomical models, images of which we project on scrims opposite the figure. Viewers are invited to step up on a pedestal that faces the TAM in order to listen to the accompanying audio script and at the same time position themselves within the historical narrative.
